PHILADELPHIA, PA. – FEBRUARY 10, 2014 – The Philadelphia 76ers today announced that Jake Reynolds has been promoted to Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service, effective immediately. In this role, he will oversee one the largest ticket sales teams in the NBA. Reynolds assumes responsibility for sales and service of full season tickets, partial plans, group sales and the team delivering outstanding service to Sixers fans. He will report directly to Chief Revenue Officer Chris Heck.

“As an organization that prides itself on providing opportunities for young, super-star talent in this business, this is the right time for Jake to lead our elite, growing sales team,” said Heck. “This coming offseason is full of potential and expectations, and Jake has proven himself to be the kind of dedicated, innovative and inspiring executive that can rise to the challenge. Our team will be well-served by his proven track record of success, strong interpersonal skills and unmatched will to win.”

Reynolds most recently served as Senior Director of Sales for the Sixers, a role he took in August of 2013 after spending three seasons as Director of Inside sales for Monumental Sports & Entertainment in Washington, D.C.

With Monumental, he oversaw the hiring and development of a 22-person team responsible for selling VIP, group and full- and partial-season tickets for the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, Washington Mystics and Georgetown Men’s Basketball. He also served as the project manager for Monumental Sports’ partnership with Georgetown University, including the day-to-day operations, sales reporting and ticket package development for the Men’s Basketball program. In his time with Monumental Sports, Reynolds developed a sales training program for all representatives and created a culture that helped 36 of his employees receive internal promotions to senior-level positions.

Prior to joining Monumental Sports & Entertainment, Reynolds spent two seasons with the New York Giants and Giants Stadium, LLC. In a single year as Premium Partnerships Manager, he was the top overall revenue producer, promoting and selling contractual suite leases to C-level executives in the New York market. He spent the previous season as the top revenue-generating Sales Executive, responsible for inbound and outbound selling, generating weekly sales numbers, and analyzing and tracking buying trends for upper management, to which he directly reported.

Reynolds began his career with the Indiana Pacers as an Account Executive and was quickly promoted to Sales Consultant, where he was the top overall revenue producer for the team’s senior sales team.

Reynolds holds a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Studies (Business Management and Physical Education) from Utah Valley University. He lives in West Chester, Pa., with his wife and two daughters.
