CAREER NOTES: Acquired by the Wolves in a draft-day trade this past June.


2011-12 SEASON: Had a delayed start to his rookie season in the NBA, having missed the first 24 games after undergoing surgery on Dec. 30 to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee… Made his debut Mar. 10 vs. New Orleans, and went on to play in 19 contests; he averaged 3.3 ppg, 1.4 rpg and 1.6 apg while logging 12.8 mpg… Shot 39.0% from the field and 82.4% from the FT line… Handed out a team- and season-high five assists (in a season-high 22:30) Apr. 9 vs. Phoenix, and scored a season-high nine points Apr. 16 at Indiana… Also had two stints with the Sioux Falls SkyForce; he played in a total of seven D-League games, averaging 10.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg and 5.9 apg… Made his first appearance by netting 16 points and six assists Feb. 7 vs. Dakota, and totaled 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists Mar. 3 at Erie.

COLLEGE NOTES: Lee, a 6-5 guard from UCLA, averaged 9.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists over his three-year collegiate career. game… 2010-11: Finished his junior season as the Bruins’ second-leading scorer at 13.1 ppg… Earned both First Team All-Pac-10 and Pac-10 All-Defensive Team honors in 2011… 2009-10: Malcolm Lee joined Michael Roll as the only two players to start in all 32 games in 2009-10, averaging 34.8 minutes per contest ... he scored in all 32 games he played in, reaching double figures 21 times, including a career-high 29 points in 37 minutes in a loss at Notre Dame (Dec. 19)… 2008-09: Lee played in 29 games, averaging 10.7 minutes per contest without making any starts ... he scored in 21 of the 29 games he played in, reaching double figures twice ... had at least one rebound in 21 of 29 games ... was one of nine Bruins that shot 50 percent or better from the field, connecting on 50.0 percent of his shots (38-for-76), which was sixth on the squad ... scored a season-high 16 points in a season-high 21 minutes of action in the home win over Wyoming (Dec. 23).
