Parents can register their young basketball phenoms beginning at 8:30 a.m. on October 7. Waivers will be required by every child participating in the Kids Clinic and must be turned in at registration. The clinic is for kids ages 5 and up.

Tickets for individual games for the 2006-07 pre-season and regular season will be available at the Palace Box Office before and after the Open Practice. Tickets for seats ranging from $10 to $80, including Opening Night on November 1 versus the Milwaukee Bucks, will be available.
Players are scheduled to work in the Box Office after practice and the court will be open for fans to take a shot on the court. The Pistons Locker Room Stores will be open and stocked with Detroit Pistons gear for the 2006-07 season.
Practice will consist of an introduction of the 2006-07 Detroit Pistons and then Coach Flip Saunders will run the guys through a light workout. Rip Hamilton, Chauncey Billups, Rasheed Wallace, and Tayshaun Prince will all be in training camp and in attendance at the Open Practice. October 7 will be the first opportunity for fans to get a look at new Pistons Nazr Mohammad and Flip Murray and watch new assistant coaches Dave Cowens and Terry Porter interact with the players.
The first pre-season game of the year is Tuesday, October 10 versus the Miami Heat in Puerto Rico. The Pistons first home pre-season game will be Monday, October 16 against the Utah Jazz.
