The opening ceremony was graced with the attendance of Mr. Eric Chow, Assistant to Director of LKSF , and Mr. Lei Yongsheng, General Secretary of Lao Niu Foundation.

After brief introductory speeches about the benefits of the camps and the three organizations' tireless efforts to give back to the community and the importance of social responsibility, NBA legend Glen Rice gave a short but meaningful talk about how to become an all-rounded player.

NBA legend Glen Rice and Coach Rex were glad to see a group of talented campers with strong basketball experience, including ten girls. Both of them were deeply motivated and enthusiastically led the Jr. Coaches and campers to start the day with warm-ups and stretches then moved into the intense programs of passing, shooting drills on a full court, games and English lessons afterwards.

The half-court shooting competition between Glen Rice and campers ignited the first day of the camp, nearly 10 minutes matchup ended up to 5:1, and 80 campers showed their great respect to Glen Rice with 20 push-ups.

All in all, the advanced level of campers motivated Glen Rice, Coach Rex and all the Jr coaches, they upgraded the training program to make it tenser and everyone enjoyed themselves today, and walked away with authentic NBA training experience and even more importantly an upgraded perception to the spirit of basketball and respect for others.
