College Highlights: Currently ranks seventh all-time in NCAA Division I history with 443 career blocked shots and ranks third all-time with a 5.34 career blocked shot per game average. Has posted five career triple-doubles, one shy of tying the NCAA career record held by Drexel’s Michael Anderson and LSU’s Shaquille O’Neal. Earned Third Team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors as a sophomore and Third Team All-America East Conference honors as a freshman. Has earned All-Defensive Team honors in three separate conferences. Named CAA Defensive Player of the year as a sophomore and America East Rookie and Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman. Earned Atlantic-10 All-Defensive Team honors as a junior. Played first two seasons at Northeastern before transferring to Duquesne, where he sat out the 2006-07 season under NCAA transfer rules.

Junior (2007-08): Led team in scoring (12.6 ppg) and rebounding (6.9 rpg). Led the Atlantic-10 and ranked fifth nationally in blocked shots (3.96 bpg). Posted five double-doubles including the first triple-double in school history, a 17-point, 11-rebound, 10-block performance vs. St. Joseph’s. Set a school and Atlantic-10 single game record with 12 rejections at Oakland (Mich.). Scored 20 or more points five times, recording a season-high 21 points vs. George Washington. Registered 19 points and a season-high 12 rebounds vs. Winston-Salem State. Recorded 16 points and 11 rebounds at Drake. Tallied 20 points, nine rebounds and five blocks vs. Pittsburgh. Scored 18 points at West Virginia. Posted 11 points and seven blocked shots at Xavier.

Sophomore (2005-06): At Northeastern, averaged 12.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and a NCAA single-season record 6.53 blocked shots, breaking the record previously set by Colgate’s Adonal Foyle in 1996-97. Total of 196 blocks was also the second-highest in NCAA history behind Navy’s David Robinson’s 207 blocks in 1985-86. Posted 10 double-doubles including two triple-doubles. Scored 20 or more points four times. Recorded a career-high 26 points on 10-for-13 shooting and blocked 10 shots vs. Virginia Commonwealth. Registered a triple-double of 17 points, 14 rebounds and a season-high 11 blocked shots vs. James Madison. Scored 22 points at California. Tallied 12 points and a season-high 15 rebounds at Georgia State.

Freshman (2004-05): Averaged 10.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.4 blocked shots. Led the America East and ranked second nationally in blocked shots, setting a school single season record (136). Also set a school record for field goal percentage (.633). Posted a season-high 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds vs. Hartford. Recorded the first triple-double in school history with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 11 blocked shots vs. Iona. Tallied 15 points, a career-high 17 rebounds, and 11 blocked shots vs. Albany. Registered 21 points, eight rebounds and five blocked shots vs. Northeastern in the America East Tournament semifinals. Scored 12 points, pulled down seven rebounds and rejected seven shots vs. Memphis in the first round of the postseason NIT.

Strengths: Elite shot blocker who not only intimidates with his long wingspan and quickness off his feet, but also utilizes anticipation, timing and patience to be truly dominating defensively. Has made improvements on the offensive end and can knock down the mid-range jumper.

Personal: Majoring in communication studies. Moved to the United States at the age of seven. Comes from a basketball-playing family: older brother Gordon played at Bridgeport, older brother Lex played at St. Francis (N.Y.), and younger brother Delroy currently plays at Rhode Island.
