Area of Strength:
The postseason discovery of Jeff Teague solidified the Hawks backcourt and probably gave Atlanta its point guard of the future. Joe Johnson has been the club's leading scorer since arriving in 2005-06, but his numbers declined after signing for $121 million. Josh Smith and Al Horford are anchors on the front line.

Needs Work:
With the anticipated departure of Jamal Crawford, the Hawks could use scoring punch off the bench. Jordan Crawford was supposed to fill that void, but the Hawks traded their 2010 No. 1 pick for Kirk Hinrich. A shot-blocking center would enable the Hawks to move Horford to power forward, his ideal position.

Two Stats That Matter:
3.5 -- That's how many assists Horford averaged at center and power forward. And you know what? It was second-best on the team.

5 -- The number of Hawks who averaged double-figure scoring, proof that Atlanta is offensively balanced.

The Way To Go:
The Hawks sent Jordan Crawford and this year's No. 1 to Washington for Kirk Hinrich, a move that now seems wasted because of Teague's breakout performance in the playoffs. They should grab the best player available in the second round.
