Rockets 91, Celtics 103 - January 11, 2013
The Celtics pushed their win streak to five straight by defeating the Houston Rockets 103-91 Friday night in Boston. The Rockets, who trailed by as many as 17 points, rallied to within two in the fourth quarter before the C's responded with lock-down defense and rode Kevin Garnett to the win.
Garnett scored 11 points in the fourth quarter, including a thunderous slam, and finished with 17 points and eight rebounds. Paul Pierce tallied a team-high 23 points, while Jared Sullinger earned his second consecutive double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
